Our school's Grade 5s began our day in Midland, Ontario with a Mass at Martyrs' Shrine. The priest then explained the importance and the history of this space to the French Missionaries. We continued our day exploring the historical sites at 'Sainte Marie Among the Hurons' to better understand the relationship between the French Missionaries and the Huron Wendat community. We ended our day with a walk through the Wye Marsh.
