Parallel Tasks: Canadian Government & Land form Regions

This afternoon our Grade 5s were busy exploring how the Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels of Government work together to address a current social concern - the flu. Our Grade 4s are exploring a current environmental concern in the Western Cordillera. Just what is fracking and how can we better the problem? Very soon groups will be exploring their own chosen environmental concern (within an assigned physical land form region) or a current social concern. They will continue to use their critical thinking skills to explain their concern, current solutions as well as propose new solutions through Adobe Spark!
